Welcome Message

Greetings,

On behalf of Linda Vignozzi, President, and the ISSWSH Education Committee, I am writing to invite you to join us in Arizona for the 2025 ISSWSH Fall Course! We have some fresh faces on faculty with several updated lectures and breakouts to share!

Due to the growing popularity of our annual Fall Course—and having sold out for the past three years—we're excited to announce that the 2025 ISSWSH Fall Course will be held at a new location to better accommodate our attendees. Join us at the beautiful We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort in Fort McDowell, located just 20 miles northeast of Scottsdale!

Every year the ISSWSH Fall Course provides new content while remaining steadfast towards teaching the basics of practicing sexual medicine. This year, we are proud of our commitment to offering a high-level course presented by a diverse array of faculty in multiple disciplines.

Whether you are a return attendee or brand new to our society, we have designed a course that will expand your fund of knowledge and push your critical thinking forward in addressing challenging cases. This course is relevant for all women’s healthcare providers, including MDs, NPs, PAs, PTs, CNMs, and all types of mental health providers. We welcome trainees and those with decades in their respective fields, as this course can contribute to almost any practitioner.

The program includes many of the core elements that have made this course so successful, such as sessions in genitopelvic and sexual pain, hormone management, coding and billing. We continue to weave topics highlighting the care of marginalized communities throughout the course to ensure you walk away with a deep and meaningful understanding of barriers to care. Breakout sessions provide opportunities for all participants to learn in smaller groups and ask questions of our faculty.

Finally, we are continuing our Hands-On Vulvovaginal Disorders Course on Sunday. With registration, you will experience a half day of hands-on experience performing vulvar exams, pelvic floor exams, identifying key vulvar conditions, and discussing advanced procedures in sexual medicine. Attendance for the hands-on portion of the course is capped at 60. This comprehensive hands-on training is one of a kind and a particular must-do for those who are performing any physical exams on patients with vulvas.

ISSWSH continues to value equitable representation in our research, education, and patient outreach. The Fall Course provides our participants with the evidence-based tools they need to be advocates and providers in their community. We assure you that you will leave this course more knowledgeable and confident in treating your patients and promoting sexual wellness.

We look forward to seeing you in Arizona!

Sincerely,

Sarah Cigna, MD, MS, FACOG, MSCP, IF
