COVID-19 Cancellation

The International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH) has cancelled the ISSWSH Sexual Pain Course scheduled for April 17-18, 2020 in Washington D.C. This is in direct response to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak which is now identified as a pandemic. ISSWSH is concerned for the health and safety of our faculty and attendees and recognizes that there are an increasing number of academic institutions limiting access to public spaces and restricting travel that affects people’s ability to attend meetings.

While this decision was difficult, we want to ensure you that ISSWSH understands the interest in and significance of this course topic and will be exploring dates and locations to organize the Sexual Pain Course in the future. The objective of the course will remain the same, addressing the important and common concerns expressed by women regarding sexual pain, to include evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of sexual pain in women with an aim to give healthcare providers the tools needed to support patients suffering with vulvovaginal and pelvic pain.
